This Babysitting Safety Workshop, taught by Safety First CPR & Safety Training, offers youth ages 11-16 three official safety certifications in a fun, interactive, daily camp setting. Students will earn certifications from the American Safety & Health Institute in Babysitting Safety, Community CPR/AED and Basic First Aid, each valid for 2 years. These are great certifications to have for those getting started with babysitting, already babysitting, or simply wanting to safely stay home with siblings. Space is limited – register today! Nocatee’s new Coffee House Series is a free resident event, featuring musical performances by specialty folk artists. Beer, wine, and select coffee beverages will be available for purchase at the bar as Residents enjoy live folk music. This July Nocatee welcomes Charley Simmons as the headlining performer, described as a “must see in musical entertainment”. Residents Debbie Farmer, Pat Payne, Byron Watson, and Joe Spitzner known as “Harmony Grits” will be opening the second set. Nocatee is proud to host two Food Truck Fridays every month this summer! Jacksonville’s favorite Jax Truckies food trucks will gather at Splash Waterpark to serve members of the community local one-of-a-kind, gourmet food and snacks. This event will feature live music by That Guy Steve on the Event Stage. Beer and wine will be available for purchase at the bar, including select craft beers and wines.
